The entire experience at this place was nothing but Sharrita being condescending to me, refusing to acknowledge my problems, and trying to minimize my worries and concerns. I came in to diagnose the warning light regarding tire pressure on my dashboard. Scheduled a same-day appointment noting beforehand that I need the engine light fixed. Even with appointment, it took 3+ hours and I didn't get to go home until everybody left & the place closed. Doesn't feel like my appointment is prioritized. Nobody kept track of me or checked in, even through messages. I had to actively ask when they would be done. Only then did they tell me it's going to take a long time because my car is old & rusty, which I felt is an excuse because they knew I was coming & should've paced their work accordingly. They also sent me a diagnostic video of the technician showing the engine bay for barely 7s & say I have to fix all 4 of my tire pressure sensors (~$1k). I didn't even get to see the state of my tires & was skeptical, but went with the repair anyways because what else can I do as a person not knowing anything about cars? After that lack of communication & transparency, I drove home & the warning lights re-appeared 4 days later. A $1,000 issue coming back after barely 50 miles of driving is just ridiculous... I called them & they gaslit me into believing that it's because I don't have my tires at high enough pressure when it's winter time. They talked to me like a kid, explaining that air molecules shrink during the winter, etc. I followed them anyways but it still didn't work. So by this point I've wasted $1k, my time self-diagnosing my car (wasted 4-5 business days of my own time), and my energy defending myself when Toyota York keeps minimizing my problems and concerns. Paid that much time, effort, and energy for a problem that should have been solved to begin with. By that point I didn't want anything to do with this place anymore. I just want them to make it right or refund my money so I can go fix this issue elsewhere. My calls to this place all went to the void. The only person picking up is the appointment setter at the front desk. It makes no sense that during business hours (3-4PM Thursday), there is no advisor or manager who is available to talk to me. The website says this place doesn't close until 6PM. It seems that they're trying to avoid addressing my problem. I kept being told to leave voicemails. They keep using the excuse that they're on the phone or talking to other customers but the 2 times I have gone to this place, no client ever talks to these people. Be realistic. What is there to talk about. Most people are just there to drop off their car & wait to pay & pick it up. Nobody has enough car knowledge or cares enough to talk to the advisor for 1 hour like they claim. Also the service building is so small that the front desk person could just walk to the back & physically check if the advisor is there. They just don't want to do it or address my problems; that's why. When I keep calling back and asking to talk with them directly about my problems, they keep avoiding confronting me & say that failed car sensors "do not cause the vehicle to fail or cause death," which again is another time Toyota York dismisses my worries as trivial. I came in for a second follow-up appointment & they said the tire pressure sensor on my 5th spare tire is broken and needs to be fixed. Again, why didn't they tell me this the first appointment? To conclud, I would never go to this place again & don't recommend it to anyone. The lack of transparency & communication with clients is absurd. It doesn't feel that you are listened to or treated with respect. To compare, Toyota Lancaster gives better customer service with better price. Choose another place. More
My wife and I traveled to Toyota of York. We were interested in looking for a new car. At the time the RAV4 was the model vehicle we wanted to test drive. The were no RAV4s on the lot. Steven We were interested in looking for a new car. At the time the RAV4 was the model vehicle we wanted to test drive. The were no RAV4s on the lot. Steven, one of the salesmen walked up to us and introduced himself. We explained our interest in the RAV4. He showed one that had already been sold. Steven was a very nice young man who appeared to knowledgeable. He inquired about the kind fuel we wanted to use. I told him we were interested in gasoline. He encouraged us to consider a Hybrid and he went on to explain the benefits. We explained we wanted it fully equipped and my wife wished the vehicle color to be white. We also decided we would like the Hybrid model. Steve excused himself and came back with his supervisor. After further discussion we agreed on a 2024 RAV4 Limited which would have the features we were interested in. She explained due the high demand she would have to look for one explaining it would cost $500 to locate one and have it delivered. She left our location and returned with a list of vehicles. She said that she discovered that she is expected to receive the vehicle we were interested in from Japan. The 2025 models were not available yet. She gave us a window period for it to be delivered. We were directed to the finance department to sign the required documents. We paid over $43,000 cash. During this time the young man explained the benefits of an extended warranty. We agreed to purchase the extended warrant. The cost was nearly $3,000. We went home and awaited our car’s delivery. We later decided to decline the offer of the extended warranty. I called and explained that we changed our minds. There was no questions. He explained the check with the full amount would be mailed to me in approximately two weeks. Great! Now, I was learning about what VIN numbers revealed. Out of curiosity I took a photo if the VIN number of our car. I was surprised to learn that our RAV4 was manufactured in Canada not Japan. Why we were told it was manufactured in Japan I don’t know. I guess she thought we would be more impressed. This is not a big issue but if I would be asked my opinion on buying a car from your dealership, I would have to explain my experience. My daughter has been interested in purchasing a Toyota. Her boyfriend drives a Tacoma he purchased at Lancaster Toyota. He works with someone he had purchased other Toyotas from. I will urge her to accompany him to Lancaster. I just wonder if I was told other things about our vehicle that isn’t true? More

Test drove a vehicle right before closing time on a Saturday. Let the salesman know I would be back on Monday afternoon with my trade for a value and to go from there. Salesman called early in the day Saturday. Let the salesman know I would be back on Monday afternoon with my trade for a value and to go from there. Salesman called early in the day to confirm I would come in to fill out the paperwork and get a trade value. I let him know I would be in at 430 with my trade. I showed up. They took my vehicle to get the trade value. I sat down with the salesman who took all my information and let me know we were just waiting on the trade value and we could proceed. I was made aware that someone had showed up while my trade was being looked at and that I would have to wait until they got back before they could move forward. I waited 20 minutes for them to return to be told that they had put a $500 deposit on the vehicle and that it was no longer available and that that person would return the next day to try and buy the vehicle. This was all done while I was currently with a salesman in the showroom to purchase the vehicle. After being told it was no longer available because someone put a deposit down I asked for the courtesy of allowing me to put a deposit down since I’m currently filling out the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and was told that wasn’t an option and it would be sold to them. They told me they were unaware I was in the showroom waiting on my trade value and took the deposit. There was zero attempt at fixing the mistake and letting the other customer know there was someone doing paperwork on the vehicle. It was an absolute joke. More

We were working with Jayden Miller and Mary Koller to purchase a used car for our college bound son. After doing a test drive and communicating via email with Jayden regarding the work we'd have done on purchase a used car for our college bound son. After doing a test drive and communicating via email with Jayden regarding the work we'd have done on the car, manager, Jessie Dougherty sold it right from under us without any consideration that we had traveled from Delaware to York, PA to purchase the vehicle from him. We received no explanation. Just a call from an assistant telling us he sold it. More
The service center I m specter My vehicle on a Thursday and said it needed a brake light bulb. It worked when we dropped it off but I know it could burn out at any time. I left them replace it. $42.00. The and said it needed a brake light bulb. It worked when we dropped it off but I know it could burn out at any time. I left them replace it. $42.00. The same bulb only the taillight part was not working 2 days later. I bought a bulb, cost $5.42. It took me less than 2 minutes start to finish to replace the bulb. I will never go back as this isn't the first time I've been ripped off there. More
On May 14th, this year I got my 2024 Toyota Rav 4 XLE, I was told by the financial manager Josh that for me to get heated seats and coating of the new car there was an extra charge of $1200, which I was ok was told by the financial manager Josh that for me to get heated seats and coating of the new car there was an extra charge of $1200, which I was okay with. I was told just to make a phone call to arrange for an appointment of the services. After calling for 5 times on different days and a lady by the name Brittany who was so rude and unprofessional would tell me someone will call you back, and nobody did. Finally I had to drive there and met with the Sales Manager Antony who was also rude and had his own attitude , he assured me that , he was going to take care of everything. On Monday July 1st my car was taken and I had the hope that the 2 things that were supposed to be done will be taken care off. When I got the car back on Tuesday July 2nd, the heated seats were installed and the coating of the car was never done. I called Anthony back just to get some clarification , but never got a call back. So now I will have to pay $500 for a service I never got because all this was added to my car payments. I will not recommend anyone to go to the Toyota of York. It’s awful. The staff is very rude and all they do is lie to their customers . More
Service department is not at all recommended, do NOT take your vehicle here to be worked on. After an incomplete repair to my vehicle, which I found out how much wasn't properly done about 6-7 weeks later. A your vehicle here to be worked on. After an incomplete repair to my vehicle, which I found out how much wasn't properly done about 6-7 weeks later. Also ended up finding out that they said absolutely NOTHING about the seal that had to have been leaking when they worked on my truck! The seal was on the transmission! Why in the world would you not mention this?! I would have had them replace the seal and avoided what I'm going through now. That being, due to not knowing about this issue, ended up damaging my transmission. Now I have to replace my transmission over a seal! A seal!?! I'm looking at a $6000 repair now! I trusted them because they are a Toyota dealership and I figured they should be Toyota experts (my truck is a 4runner) and would fix her correctly. Extremely disappointed with them, not only for the incomplete repair on what she went in for initially, but even more so that any mechanic would see a leaking transmission seal and not say anything about it, simply unacceptable. I truly wish I had risked taking my truck elsewhere. I also took her there because I had bought her from Toyota of York originally. I'm greatly disappointed in the entire experience I've had now and have zero trust or faith that they know what they are doing. I caution others to stay away thanks to this experience. More
1) They lie about prices then jack them up once you arrive. 2) They are racist and followed me around including into the bathroom to watch me like a criminal, despite being a well dressed doctor. R arrive. 2) They are racist and followed me around including into the bathroom to watch me like a criminal, despite being a well dressed doctor. Racist Staff---Avoid At All Costs: I have had great experiences in my local Toyota dealership in MA, and assumed the same would be true in York, where I just started working as a physician. This was not the case. I had popped a tire and they gave me one quote on the phone then a much larger one once my car had been toed. I was willing to pay the higher rate, but shocked at the way I was treated. As I approached MY CAR, people ran out from the building to see what I was doing as if I was a criminal. Then I asked to use the bathroom and a WOMAN FOLLOWED ME IN and STARED AT ME while I washed my hands, waiting till I left to leave herself (without doing anything but check on me). This was the whole experience of people constantly watching me and following me as if I was a thief or terrorist despite being a well dressed doctor coming straight from work. From the website the woman appears to be Russelly Morales. THERE ARE MANY nearby GREAT Toyota dealers. Go there instead. ITS WORTH THE DRIVE. More
